Silver City Surfers attended Robert Gordon University Volunteering Fair on 12th November. A great afternoon of meeting young people studying a wide range of disciplines, who were keen to talk with us about how they can support our sessions.
The role of volunteer tutor is open to anyone over the age of 16 and allows young people the opportunity to develop their communication skills through engaging with older adults. In turn the connection with our younger generation is enjoyed by learners, who benefit from their knowledge and enthusiasm for all things tech.
