Our team was represented by staff member Fay and young volunteer Adwait, who joined SHMU’s So Why Don’t You radio programme on 14th August. A great opportunity to talk about volunteering, supporting older people with IT and the brilliant work carried out by our volunteers. Adwait, who has recently completed 100 hours of volunteering with Silver City Surfers, shared their experience of being part of our team and the valuable contribution younger volunteers can make. It was a great opportunity to celebrate the people behind our service and the difference they make in our community.
